Grandmaster Sosa is the President and co founder of Victory Academy. Grandmaster Sosa's vision of developing a multi-program facility founded on providing "great instruction in a great facility" is now a reality! Persistently looking ahead, he and his wife Vicki continue to search for new methods and opportunities to elevate the services and programming currently offered by the Academy. A 7th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, Grandmaster Sosa has founded the Victory Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan Association; an international organization that offers the top world credentials to other Tae Kwon Do school and students. Grandmaster Sosa has also created the most advanced training system for teaching children martial arts; a program called Mighty Kids. Throughout his 27 years of teaching experience, Grandmaster Sosa continues to build close relationships with his students, an element that defines his success as teacher and mentor. He credits and is thankful to God for everything in his life.

Co Founder and Vice President of Victory Academy, Vicki has help sculpt the Academy into a successful sports and performing arts business center. Her long-standing dedication and contribution has resulted in making "learning" a positive experience for all Victory Academy members! Vicki's successful competitive gymnastics career earned her a Gymnastics Scholarship at Western Illinois University, where she usually placed 1st in the all-around. Combining her educational knowledge with her love and experience for gymnastics, Vicki developed a uniquely structured Rainbow Gymnastics curriculum. This curriculum has proven to be the cornerstone for establishing a successful recreational gymnastics program. Other than sharing her love of gymnastics with her students, Vicki's life's purpose is to glorify God in her daily life and to impart God's principals of purpose, patience, perseverance, and joy in regards to gymnastics training and learning.

Head Instructor Sarah Schuster is Victory Academy's General Manager, responsible for assisting with the overall business operations and programming. In addition, Sarah's insight and knowledge of working with children has positioned her as the Mighty Kids Taekwondo Manager, and to help make it one of the best in the nation. Other duties include Store Manager and Tae Kwon Do Coordinator. Head Instructor Schuster is the Director of the Mighty Kids Training Success System; a well-renown children's curriculum for teaching martial arts . She graduated from Illinois State University with high honors earning a Teaching Degree in Elementary Education.

Since the 2001-2002 cheer season, the Victory Academy Lions have made large strides under the direction of Jen. With the assistance of a supportive and highly dedicated coaching staff, Jen has instilled positive qualities in her squads that promote commitment, hard work, personal responsibility and team work. The Lions have rapidly become a power-house to be reckoned with at state and regional competition. A former Level 9 gymnast, Jen cheered four years at Illinois Wesleyan University, qualifying for NCA Collegiate Nationals in 2001.

Now in his twenty-fifth year of Tae kwon Do training, Senior Master Schuster has the unique distinction of being Grandmaster Sosa's most senior student. Currently a 6th Degree Black Belt, Senior Master Schuster has earned the vital responsibility of serving as Victory Academy's Tae Kwon Do Manager. Known for his technical excellence, Senior Master Schuster is the Victory Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan Association's technical advisor. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Teaching Degree in Elementary Education.

Artistic Director of Dance at Victory Academy has been dancing for the past 22 years. Born and raised in St. Charles, Illinois she found her way down to Bloomington/Normal when she was accepted as a Dance Major at Illinois State University in 2002. During her time at Illinois State University she was a company member to the Illinois State Dance Theatre, and was given the opportunity to perform and learn the works of many great artists such as Lucas Crandall; Artistic Director of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Eddy Ocampo; of Chicago, and Brian Brooks of New York. She danced in faculty and student dance concerts of the Illinois State Dance Theatre from 2002-2006. From 2002-2005 she traveled to varying states such as Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, and Nebraska to perform in selected dance pieces at the American College Dance Festival. During the festivals she also took master dance classes with many prominent and well known professional choreographers furthering her experience and education of dance. Jesica brings to Victory Academy a passion for dance plus a teaching style that promotes success. Under her directorship, the Academy's dance program has implemented a comprehensive teaching approach that is fun and exciting for all students.

Victory Academy Pre-Ballet dance instructor, has been dancing for the past 14 years. She has studied with a number of dance studios including Joy Xu's Conservatory of Classical Dance where she performed in the production of Coppelia. Furthering her studies, she chose Dance Source Unlimited of Gymnastics' Academy of Rockford as her main dance residency of education. She has had the pleasure of performing in many student recital's as well as larger dance performances including Snow White, A Midsummer Nights Dream, An American in Paris; as well as a number of interpretations of the Nutcracker. She was invited to perform multiple times at Rockford's Art's for Life Dance Benefit. Along with studying ballet, she has had the privilege of learning the art of dancing and performing with Chinese Fans and 6 feet silk Ribbons. 6 years ago she started teaching dance at Rockford's Dance Source Unlimited in her quest to share her love for dance with others. For the past 3 years she has been teaching and educating at Victory Academy. She attributes all of her dance knowledge and training to her amazing Rockford dance teachers, accomplished guest artists, and DSU Artistic Dance Director and dance mentor Beth Blackaby; N.I.U Dance Alumni. She also attributes her dancing ability and talents to God and thanks Him for her wonderful talent.
