Rainbow Gymnastics is considered a non competitive fitness class. With hard work and experience, we designed our unique curriculum to both challenge and reward your child in a systematic and progressive fashion. Rainbow Charts are used to record each child's progress. Every seventeenth week, our "Awards Day" allows children the opportunity to show-off their skills in front of parents, and for parents to applaud for their little superstar(s). Equally important, Awards Day recognizes and rewards character development such as leadership, courage, kindness, perseverance and focus.
Our dedicated staff is energetic, enthusiastic, and loves kids.
Monthly training sessions keep everyone abreast of the latest technical and safety information.
- SAFETY WEEK: Daily safety practices such as safe landings and safety rolls are performed, and students are taught our safety rules and what to do in emergency situations. SAFETY CAT visits every class to encourage students to be like a cat and land on their feet!
- SKILL MASTERY: Safety Week is followed by fifteen weeks of gymnastics skill progressions. Each student has a RAINBOW CHART to mark their progress as they develop the strength, power, flexibility, balance and coordination needed to perform gymnastics skills in a FUN and SAFE manner.
- CHARACTER BUILDING: Life skills lessons and homework are incorporated right into our curriculum! We believe that gymnastics is a great medium to teach perseverance, courage, focus and discipline to name just a few of our character building qualities.
- AWARDS DAY: On the last day of the curriculum cycle, parents are invited into the gymnastics room for AWARDS DAY. This special class gives parents the opportunity to review their child's Rainbow Chart, ask questions, take pictures, watch a demonstration, and sometimes actually participate in an activity! In the final segment of Awards Day, every student is honored with a Character Award in recognition of a specific positive character trait.
